What is the difference between organizing and organizational skills training?
Organizing is the physical process of decluttering and system creating in your space by using professional organizer techniques and manpower to improve the space.
During the session of organizing skills training (which can be conducted in an online or offline format). I help my clients to figure out the reasons for disorganization and establish new habits. Besides that, I help my clients to organize their life processes, establish everyday routines and simplify the process of achieving their goals.
How many sessions are usually required to see the improvement?
It depends on the difficulty of the client’s situation, and his willingness to work on improvement and follow my advice. Therefore, usually, clients choose the duration and frequency of sessions. In some cases, they need only 5 sessions, in others – it takes a few months to solve the problem.
How many hours it usually takes to complete organizing in one area?
It depends on how much stuff you have and what you expect from organizing, that is why we offer on-site consultation and prepare a custom-made plan, where we estimate the number of hours required for organizing a particular area.
How should I prepare for the first visit of a professional organizer?
You don’t need to prepare anything in terms of space, the real picture of your life situation will help to find a better solution for your space. You just need to arrange a certain amount of time (1,5-2 hours) to answer the questions, discuss your expectations and budget and show your to the professional organizer.
How do you work with teenagers?
I work with teens at the request of their parents, but I need their agreement and willingness to improve their organizational skills. They have to admit they have a difficulty first before I start working with them. I help them to organize their rooms and create a system for the effective completion of their homework. I also teach them how to use a calendar, and how to set reminders and help them improve their executive functional skills.
Can you work online?
In terms of organizing skills training and ADHD coaching, I can offer an online format. Some of my clients are based in Europe and we effectively work on their organizational skills improvement.
